could this really be real life? Like, these babies and their pile of leaves were perfect. It was so fun to get to hang out with a family that just wanted to play together. These just felt JOYFUL as I went through and edited them. I'm so grateful for trusting clients because these feel just a little bit magical with all the smiles and leaves!
Oh how we love the Gilberts! From making us laugh whenever we are with them, to showing us what parenting 5 boys with joy and grace and patience looks like. Also please appreciate how adorable that HUNK ONESIE IS.
Oh my heart. This little family is the sweetest!! And I don't know how to not share this entire session, so I'm sorry but there are a ton. Not sorry enough to even try to edit it down though! They are as lovely as they are in love with their new baby boy. And Liz absolutely nailed their whole family wardrobe you guys. Stop reading; just go look already!!
I can hardly believe how many people are in these pictures!! I know I say this with all my extended families, but I think it's really incredible to meet such amazing and diverse people. The dynamics of big families are so cool! And this family was absolutely FULL of wonderful people. They were all so kind and patient and just dang fun to be around. The men may have even gotten the kids laughing with a good round of the wave at one point ;) so I might hire them as my back up troupe for all extended family sessions!
without further ado, meet the NELSONS!!
Oh how I love this crew! We got back 10 + years, and that's just on my side. ;) These two grew up with my husband! We love hanging out with them and seeing their sweet family grow. We did some hill rolling, duck finding, and found ourselves a nice hidden path on the South side of the Logan Temple! Their sweet boy was my little assistant with his own camera even. He helped me get some shots of Mom and her baby bump.
Next time they're in front of the camera it will be with a fresh (gender to be revealed!) baby! I know I'm excited, but I bet they're more excited ;) Thanks for such a fun night you guys!
A night of laughs and love with this wonderful extended family. Every last one of them are good to the core and I was so lucky to get to hang out with this clan. And seriously...best smiles. Best smiles ever!
How many of you are still friends with your first grade BFF? because I somehow got lucky enough to still be! We would play office, fashion designers, run through puddles, swim until we were raisins, and as we got older would giggle about church trips and dances, and catch up on the lastest movies. I LOVE Dianna.
Now we're all grown up with our own little families and it feels so surreal some days. but in the best way. Seeing her and her sweet husband love on their new baby is so cool.
I love that Dianna chose this moody edit-it fit their color scheme so well!
